
Hearing Screening Schedules and Times

According to the Ohio Department of Health Guidelines, hearing screenings must be offered to students in kindergarten, first, third, fifth, and ninth grade. Hearing screenings are non-invasive and allow for early detection and identification of hearing loss in school-age students. Participation in a hearing screening is both valuable and beneficial for all students. However, hearing screenings are NOT a substitute for a complete audio logical or medical evaluation.
BOSS will be offering hearing screenings across the state of Ohio. Students must attend a hearing screening and can do so at a convenient location. Students can come at any time between the designated hours. Please call your IS to sign up for a date and location. A complete outline of dates, times, and locations will be posted on the website and is as follows:
