The College Process:
Below is a general time line for juniors and seniors that should be completed before graduation.

Junior Year:

• Request information from colleges that interest you and attend college fairs to talk to admissions representatives
• Take ACT/SAT Test
• Start to look for scholarships and take note of application deadlines
• Get organized for application questions- Create list, high school activities and volunteer experiences since ninth grade

Senior Year:
September-December

• Apply for admissions  (know the deadlines and admissions requirements)
• Apply for institutional scholarships and search national scholarship Web sites

January-May

• Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by mid-February
• Apply for local scholarships (Jan-April)
• Make your official college decision by May 1
