Individual plans to ensure student success

Buckeye Online School for Success is proud to offer a full continuum of special education services and programs to all students eligible for such services. We implement and support Inclusion Learning Support Services in an online classroom setting.

The Special Education department at Buckeye Online School for Success offers services to students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 Plan, related services, Alternate Assessment, and a Response to Intervention (RTI) program.

All students will be assigned an Intervention Specialist who has a certification in Special Education. This person will be their primary source of support and guidance throughout their educational journey.  The Intervention Specialist will also be the student’s advocate to ensure that special education services are being fully implemented into their education. He/she will monitor the student’s IEP goals through their class assignments or in a pull out setting in a resource room.

Special Education students participate in virtual classes in an inclusion setting (with the general education population).
