BOSS Special Education ODE Public Meeting

The Buckeye Online School for Success has been selected by the Ohio Department of Education, Office for Exceptional Children (OEC), for a review of its special education program. OEC will be in the district on March 19 and 20, 2019 to complete this review.

OEC is asking parents, guardians and other members of the public to share their views on the Buckeye Online School for Success’s special education program. OEC staff will be at the school office, first floor conference room, 119 E. Fifth Street, East Liverpool, OH 43920 to take public comments on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you cannot attend the meeting in person, you may dial in to a conference call from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm (information listed below in the PDF).

Please Note: Comments made in the meeting do not constitute a formal complaint. For information regarding your rights and the formal complaint process, contact the Office for Exceptional Children at 614-752-1404. Information shared, either in writing or during the public meeting, will be considered during the review process, but may not be included in OEC’s summary report to the district.
